Emory Turned 2!

We cannot believe our baby girl is 2 now!  Well...26 months now.  :) Because I am so behind on blogging!  Anyway, Emory is just the cutest, funniest little girl we know!  She keeps us all smiling and laughing with the silly things she says and does.  She and Carter are the best and worst of friends!  We feel so blessed to have her in our family.  Here are a few pictures from her big day!  Carter had fun helping me decorate her door and the kitchen for her big day.  After she woke up and opened her first present Michael took she and Carter to get Daylight Donuts while I made her cake.  My parents came up for that day for the weekend.  We had her favorite pizza for dinner, cake and ice cream.  We could have done just about anything and she would have been happy because Grandma and Grandpa came!

This little girl LOVES books, especially little ones.  She carries them with her wherever she goes and  "cuddles" with them in her bed!  I used to put books in the corner for Carter to look at when he woke up so when I started doing it with Emory she quickly corrected me and let me know she needs them tucked up under her arm.

Carter loves Skeletons and so my parents brought this cute Halloween decoration for Carter.  We found Carter like  this shortly after we opened it.  Silly boy.  (He's not actually sleeping)

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

I saw that comment from "the Hatfields" and thought, "I swear I haven't seen this post!" Haha.

Your kids are darling and obviously have a wonderful mama. I like your idea of setting books out each morning. My kids love looking at their books too but make a big mess of it.
